Here I come Whipple?
Well I have been informed by Saleen that after the new year the price from Saleen for the Series VI supercharger is going to be $5695 . Now Saleen sells them for $4995. We are selling them for $4795 but after the new year will be going to $5195 which is Saleens lowest allowed advertised price. However we have 4 that are left here and they will be the last 4 that we sell for the price of $4795. Just wanted to keep you guys updated.

Then in another 2 years, the price will go down again to lower than it was before.
BTW, the lowest allowed ADVERTISED price doesn't neccesarily mean the lowest price either.
CALL around and have cash in pocket ready to buy and you'll see some number fumblin happening. Just not at Saleen.

Glad I already ordered mine ( should ship this week ). If they try a price increass on me I will tell them to shove it...
However, since the KB unit just came out, I think Saleen will have a tough time competing. The KB Kit is in the $5500 range, but it comes with new injectors and a new MAS air sensor. It also will fit under the stock hood, ( but you do have to move more components )
I doubt many people will pick the Saleen over the KB for more or less the same price....
P.S. I Think Saleen figured out that more people were buying GT's and adding the SC than are buying the $55K Saleen SC model....

A $400-$700 increase won't kill sales completely... there will always be buyers. But it will certainly make people more aware of the competitors!! Some might pay more for a Whipple or KB just to prove a point to Saleen.

Exactly......... I was waiting for the KB numbers, but now it just looks like I'm just waiting for Spring. Probably go with the Mongoose kit from MPH
Tim has been drooling over the new KB since it was anounced.... I think he is going to give me a hard time about the Saleen S/C....
He seems to think it is the best one so far...
