S&B or K&N?

I kind of want to get the S&B because it looks like it might be the same as the FRPP. My only reservation is that I haven't heard *anything* on this board about it. Everyone talks about the K&N, C&L, JLT, etc. Why doesn't anyone have the S&B? I mean, it has to be pretty decent if FRPP is using it....?

Personally given the two choices I'd lean towards the S&B mostly because I don't think K&N did a very good engineering job on their CAI. After all how much would it have cost them to provide a direct connection to allow you to simply reconnect the crankcase breather hose rather than replace it or cut it?

People speculate that the FRPP CAI is made by S&B.

You'll notice that the S&B CAI looks exactly like the FRPP CAI.
But oh well, like I said, it's too late for me now...I just went with the mainstream and got the K&N. $216 (shipped) is not bad for a tuneless CAI. I also feel better getting one that many other people have had experience with.
