I just put on pypes Shorty headers with my pypes off road x pipe and in the headers made my car a lot quieter my loud set up before was stock manifolds off road x pipe FlowMaster 44 series muffler so I'm about to put ford Racing hot Rod cams in and when i do that I'm thinking about dropping the exhaust after the x pipe take them completely off what do you guys think

 

You could go with SLP Loudmouths. But with the setup you have it will be very loud.

 

Been there done that. Yes SLP LM's will be loud. I did ARH LT with just LM's for about a year. Sounded great. What surprised me was at 70 MPH they were all but silent. When leaving a light though watch out. You have to be light on the go button or people for miles will hear you. I miss it but I don't miss the attention of the popo and every light or stop sign.

 

Yea running open headers won't be loud at all..... Lol. Dude you're nuts if you think you're gonna drive around on the street like that. The cams are gonna make you're car soooooo much louder. BELIEVE ME haha

 

Get yourself a exhaust cuttout and have it loud when you like to. Close them for piece and silence !!!

i have pypes long tube headers with off road h/pipe and pypes muffler delete tips on. I love how loud it is, its load but suitable for the car. I plan on putting cams on shortly cant wait to hear it then. i would go for the no cats/mufflers but thats just my opinion and i live in florida were there are no emission laws.

 

It sounds amazing. Trust me lol

 

Just added ford hot rod cams and glad I did. Sound awsome and def perf gains.
