I need to find a good set of AxleBacks that sound good with a off-road x pipe. I tried my Flowmaster AxleBacks but were way too tinney. Does anyone know for a solid fact, which mufflers sound loud and throaty for this kind of pipe? Feeback Please!!

I have tried Magnaflows and Magnapaks with my bassani x-pipe. They sound good with the stock h-pipe but with the offroad x they sound a little like fart cans on a rice burner. They are not tinney though, they are deep and smooth. I have ordered bassani axlebacks and I should have them by Monday and I can let you know my oppinion. I have heard the full Bassani setup is awesome though.

SLPs would probably sound good but with no cats, watch out. Loud as heck.

Yeah, I don't think I'll go with the Loudmouths with my X-Pipe. Neighbors are already crappin' their pants with what I have now. And I don't need the attention of the local authorities :nono:

If you go with that setup, I'd love to see a video or even hear an audio clip.

I've got used JBA's for sale... They are too quiet with the stock catalytics, but might be perfect for a catless x-pipe scenario... :-)

I am running straight pipes, and will be ordering the bassani xpipe with removable cats soon. I'll let you know how it sounds.
