Rpm's hanging between shifts!

I'm just learning about this drive-by-wire throttle system and so far I dont like it. My rpm's hang a couple of seconds and sometimes longer between shifts. Can this be retuned with software?

a tune will help a little but it's more for emissions than "drive by wire" quirks.

You have not seen anything yet. When you are about to rear end someone and the car does not slow down then you have been there and done that. Only cure is a tune. Put an extra pair of underpants in the glove box just in case!

The stock computer does this for emmisions reasons. The purpose of it is to ensure that any unburned fuel gets burned up in the converter after coming down from a higher RPM. It's annoying though. Fortunately it's fixed with a good tune.

Yep, likely its all in the tune. Get a nice custom tune for your mods from Brenspeed or Bamachips and you should be good to go.

That's what the middle pedal is for...you know, not the go fast pedal and not the shifting pedal.
