Rotors

Hey guys I'm thinking of putting new rotors on my car. It's a 05 gt with 27000 miles . Ik I Deffently need new pads but I'm putting a pro charger in it this winter and I figured I mines well get new rotors with the increase of hp . Should I spend the extra money on the rotors or keep the stock ones thanks

if your going for looks then get some slotted or cross drilled. If you just want function I would just resurface the stock ones or get the bigger rotors off a 2011. I remember a post about upgrading to the 2011 rotors. I think all you need was an adapter to make the caliper work with the bigger rotors. I'm sure someone will chime in the all the correct info. In that post They showed a side by side of the new and old calipers and they are the same. The only difference was the lower part of the caliper that attaches to the car.

They look nice. Sorry I can't get you any pics of them on my car, it's still at the paint shop.

Thanks guys . I am going for looks and performance. I like the price of that entire package cuz that's pretty cheap. But I thinking I'm going with the ones with the 3 yr warranty your really can't beat that

Compatible? I'm assuming yes, I wasn't going to order them without confirming that. I'm sure that if they weren't, they would spell that out in the detailed description. But still, before I place my order I will give them a call.

Well I got my rotors today, I went with the powerstop rotors. Front and rear for about $230. What can I say, I have one teenager at home, one in college, and a wife.

I run Powerslot rotors and Hawk HP+ pads. Ever since I installed them I often wonder how in the world I lived with the stock brakes.
