I'm looking for a shop that can dyno tune and install a turbo/SC. I need a good place!

Talk to Bob Kurgan. He tuned my car and did a really nice job. He can get you good pricing on Vortech/Paxton kits and also can recommend a place to install it.

I am in the Southwest Suburbs (DuPage County).

Do any of you live by the Gurney mills mall?

 

Gurnee Mills is about 45 minutes away from me (20 minutes in the Mustang )

 

I'm 10 minutes from there. Grayslake borders Gurnee.

 

I'm in Lake County Illinois also. I still drive to Peirceton Indiana to let Brent White dyno tune my car. My A/F stays right at 11.5-11.6 throughout the RPM range. He is a very good tuner.

Anyone have experience with Massive Speed in Spring Grove? That place is real close to me but so far I've not done anything to my car I can't handle on my own (CAI, tune, pullies, etc...) and that I couldn't order from Brenspeed or the like. I might have to stop in there some time to check them out.

 

I am curious as to how much power your car put down to the tires.

I've heard nothing but good things about Brenspeed. I was thinking of taking my car there at one time.

I also thought about making the commute out to Pierceton to see good ol' Brenspeed.

 

Maybe we should plan a road trip---in the spring. I wanted to maybe add a methanol injection kit to my normally aspirated engine and have Brent dyno tune it for me.
