Haven't done it yet but thinking of going with some slotted and vented disks when it comes time to do the first break pad change. Can't imagine that it would be that difficult. I have never done rotors on a car with ABS though. You definatly have to disconnect the battery. Doing rotors on my 5.0 was a breeze.

shouldn't be too difficult. But if I change the rotors, I want bigger ones as well as slotted (cross drilled will crack over time!). And if you get bigger rotots, you have to get bigger calipers and such. Thus, you are up to a kit which will run you about a grand for the front (for good ones).

WOW, that's a serious problem. I would take it to the dealer for that.

Very easy. 2 Bolts on Caliper, 2 Bolts on Caliper's Bracket and 2 or 3 factory retaining clips on studs. And the rotor is free.

Awesome - thanks Bruce! That's exactly what my brother and I were figuring it was. Cool - nice and easy...

Most of the time, new cars dont even have those retaining clips on the studs. At my shop it would usually take me about 3-4 minutes to get the front pads and rotors off of a car. Its extremely simple.

You dont need to disconnect the battery, but when you collapse the caliper piston back into the caliper, you must crack open the bleeder, and then bleed the brakes when you are done. If you dont you can push potential dirt and air backwards through the ABS pump which can cause damage to it.
