repairs on used 05

I just recently bought a 05 from a dealer and it came with a list of repairs needed with the car. The car runs perfect, but I was just wondering which I should be most concerned with.

Transfer Case seal

Transfer case gasket

Carburetor???

King Pin bushings
Steering Box/sector shaft
Idler arm/Pitman arm

Also what would the cost be and what is covered by warranty?

what the heck? They didn't fix everything before selling it? There is no transfer case in a 2wd vehicle, no carb, no idler arms. None of the parts listed are in a Mustang, maybe they had a list from an old Bronco?? Just have it checked over by a Ford dealer if its under warranty. They will charge an hour if nothing is wrong, but if they find anything to fix under warranty, it will cost nothing. Sounds like they simply put the wrong 'list' with the wrong car.

Ok you're kidding right??

Transfer case????????
Transfer cases are used ONLY in 4 wheel drive vehicles.
There hasn't been a carburetor used in an American production vehicle since 1986.
The S197 Mustangs ('05 and up) have rack and pinion steering which replaces a steering box / idler arm / pitman arm setup.
The only place you would have king pin bushings would be in some sort of heavy duty truck probably with a straight front axle.
I think whatever repair list you were given belongs to a 4 x 4 truck of some sort as a Mustang doesn't have ANY of these parts.

+1 All of that stuff belongs on an old 4X4 truck. Sounds like my Jeep!

Wow it was figured out in the first 3 posts, they checked the boxes with an X that were not relevant to the vehicle.

There were carbs in vehicles beyond 1986, I had a 1987 F350 with a 460 and a carb. Ran like junk though from all the emissions stuff on it.

The last american produced carb'd vehicle was the '91 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Just a little bit of trivia for you.
