My new 08 GT/GS shows the airbag logo light on, any idea why?

A problem in the airbag system, take it to the dealer for your safety

There is about 1000 reasons the airbag light can come on. Most likely it is a loose connection in the seat. Take it to the dealer and let them figure it out.

 

Any issues with your horn or cruise control on the steering wheel?

 

Mine satarted staying on all the time about a year ago. They actually had to replace something with the airbag system but I can't remember what. I do remeber that my service guy said that they would not work if I was in a wreck. I'd get it checked out as soon as possible.

Was a wiring harness issue
