Quick OBX Header Question

Anybody think that the Pypes O/X (for their Longtubes) would bolt up to the OBX's?? I'm comtemplating going to an O/R X setup to change the sound out a little...any opinions or advice is much appreciated.

Also, how much will the sound differ from Resonated H > O/R X (Maybe resonated)?? Will be running 3" Magnapack Catback if that would change anything.

I'm running the OBX long tubes for almost 2 years. I don't think any H-pipe but OBX will bolt up to the OBX headers.

Does the OBX come with the option for an X? Or is it only the H?

I'm thinking of getting these this fall.. just curious. I like the H sound better, but like to know the options

Just the H...but it includes both a true O/R H as well as a resonated one. I have never heard the X in person, only online. I do like how the O/R X and magnapacks sound though. May just have to wait and see how they sound with the H before I do anything.

i actually did not use the O/R H pipes that came with my OBX headers, the headers lined up perfectly with my pypes off road H. what does the H with the resonators do for the tone compared to a true o/r H?

Personally I think it reduced the trumpeting associated with most O/R H setups. Thats really good to know then, because I think I will order me a Pypes O/R X or Catted X since it should fit the exact same as that H.

Wait..aren't the Pypes O/R H&X pipes much longer to accommodate bolting up to the stock manifolds? How did it bolt up if you have the longtubes installed? I was thinking about ordering the X Pipe they offer for their longtube's

thanks for replying back to the email i sent ya, if you have any more questions let me know.

that two peice design i told you about was an older version of the pypes, the new 4 peice design was much cheaper to produce but a heck of alot better imo if you ever switch the length of your headers. let me know!
