Quick! Kenne Bell BAP experts!

Well I ordered a BAP and it came. HOWEVER it has no control module, just the vac/pressure switch. Do I need to order the control module or will the switch work ok? This is a 30 amp BAP and will be used on a nitrous application.

If the switch is fine, does anyone have some instructions on how to wire it up?

Thanks!

You should be asking KB these questions....not us. You got no instructions at all? And yes there should be a control module to adjust the amps up and down. Ask for Jim Bell!

I did call KB. I mean, honestly, they weren't that much help.

Basically they said it was "up to me" whether or not I wanted use the vac/pressure switch or the module. Obviously I only have the switch...

Does anyone have any diagram or instructions to how you hook up the switch? I didn't get any.

unless kb gave you some kind of discount, you should have received the control module as part of the bap package.

I didn't use the pressure switch at all, just tied those ends together (per brenspeed's instruction) and spliced the two red wires into this wire (with non-fused wire on the plug end)...

then just attached the ground and plugged in the module (maybe you can zoom in on this pic)...

of course, if you have to use the pressure switch, you'll need to use the two wires that I tied off.

Ok great!

Since I don't have the instructions for some reason, I need to know which wire it is coming out of the BAP that I need to wire to the module (I ordered one last night). I know where the red wires go, and the one black wire for a ground, but that still leaves two black wires coming out of the BAP.

Thanks TacoBill. Which black wire (besides the obvious ground) connects with the control module?

Cross check your BAP to the one I have. See if you have 2 sheathed wires, 1 for the dial module, the other for the vacuum/boost switch.

The sheathed wire for the dial module has a gold RCA male plug on the end.

I have the sheathed wire, but has no male plug. I'm hoping/assuming that comes with the control module I ordered.

good work on the writeup, taco! if I had known that was there, I would've just pointed him to it (MUCH better than my crappy explanation).
