QUestion for those with X Cal II device
QUestion for those with X Cal II device
I recieved my device the other day. It seems that when the usb cable is connected, that the inside electronics move around alot by wiggling the cable. The device works correctly but feel that if it is a problem now perhaps it will get worse over time.
If I shake the unit just a little bit without the cable attached it seems loose inside.
Could some of you guys check yours for me and tell if yours are the same way? I may need to send this back to bamachips for a replacement but would rather not if others are the same. If I have to send it back I think i have to set the stock tune back before I send it and I'm loving this tunes too much to give it up for another 2 weeks!

Mine's kind of like that too. I don't have any problems with the USB cable, but it is a little flimsy and rattles if I shake it. If you are concerned about it, I would mention it to Doug. I'm sure he'll make it right.
The SCT forums a few months ago did mention some issues with the casing not fitting properly. Mine has a little wider gap on one side of the case than the other, but the problem being reported seemed worse than what I had, so I didn't worry about it. The key thing is not to break the QC seal so you don't void the warranty.
I do treat the thing like it was made of glass though, just to be on the safe side.
