The springs are 60% stiffer than the GT manual springs (and by comaprison the GT500 springs are 40% stiffer than the GT manual springs), I dunno how much firmer the dampers are? On the few articles I've read about it, Ford mentios the whole kit (springs -dampers - swaybars) as being a track day suspension, so ride quality is noticably more harsh, but no problems with compliance. The suspension really comes into its own at higher speeds where the dampers and springs control body motions better. The car will have more roll into the corners with the lowering springs since it alters the front suspension geometry by lowering the car. this is addressed by the swaybars though.

Install is easy and straight forward (the hardest part is removing the upper strut mount which is also indexed to the body). Also the nice thing aobut the FRPP springs is that they are indexed to the strut mount, some aftermarket springs don't take that into account and can cause problems with the strut mounts (requiring a switch to after market strut mounts).

 

sway bars do nothing to fix the geometry.

 

Your right aobut that, but they do help to counteract the additional roll when you lower the car. The eaisest fix I've seen for the geometry is Steeda's X5 balljoint.

 

The springs are nice, but the dampers are a little too harsh in their valving. Go with a set of Tokicos instead for about the same price.

 

Eibach makes the springs for Ford. The ones that are shown, are the same as the Eibach Pro-kit, just a different color. The ride hight dropped 1 1/4" in the front, and 1 1/2" in the rear. They are a progressive spring, and ride a little stiffer than stock. I am still running the stock shocks and struts, so that maybe my problem on the stiffer ride.

 

I ran the FRPP handling pack on my 06'GT.Overall the ride was firm and very stable.It did however increase road feedback.

FRPP suspension kit on my 07 vert. The car handles great. Like a slot car on rails.

 

I'm running both the springs and dampers. Installed the springs first and then a month or two later the dampers.

The springs definitely helped with handling and performance. The rebound with the stock dampers was way off with the springs and I really felt uncomfortable with the set up.

Adding the dampers fixed the rebound issue and noticably squared everything up. is right on. It's easily the best handling car, now, that I've ever had.

The Down side is it's harsher that before, much more... but even so it isn't as bad as it could be and I've grown used to it. I only really notice when someone who hasn't been in my car before mentions it. I am very happy with the setup and the only would be to add the sway bars.

Got the whole kit from FRPP, it's GREAT on the track--and since it's designed to work as a package, there's no worries about mismatched shock/strut and spring rates. Ford and Multimatic did a great job on this one.

The ride is FIRM but not harsh, in my opinion. It can get annoying on roads w/ a lot of potholes & stuff, though--but this is not an ORV! Car is VERY stable at speed.
