Question about Rear Swaybars

I'm considering the purchase of a new swaybar but have a few questions.

From what I've seen all aftermarket rear swaybar are the same diameter as the stock rear sway. So with that said what's improvement to be had if they only difference is the bushings? Why not just switch those out and keep the stock bar? Someone that know's what they're talking about please explain. Thanks.

This one is interesting, except for the price tag. Never seen an adjustable rear anti-roll bar before.
