Question about Borla exhaust

Why would Borla make the parts for Ford, still stamp them with Borla, and sell them for much less that if you were to buy Borla. Why would Borla agree to this.

I am not a business minded person, so please enlighten me.

Borla/FRPP/Steeda muffler are all the same if I remember correctly. Makes sense to me. Borla makes all three muflers, and sells them from 3 differant vendors. More product on the market. As far as price, I'm sure Borla makes out just fine even thought the FRPP are a lot cheaper than the standard Borlas.

I was unaware that they also supplied to Steeda.

I believe the Steeda tips are not rolled. I wish I had known about the FRPP exhaust because I could have saved myself some cash! BTW I had a guy in a Roush flag me down today and said, "Man where did you get those mufflers?" I turned him on the FRPP exhaust.
