Hey guys, where can i get the 5 piece modular Bassani Xpipe w/cats for 05-08 Mustang's for the cheapest price? I have been looking around but before i make the purchase i figured i would give the forum a shot to see if anyone knew. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Another question i had, was i see that there are 2 different 5 pc modular x pipes, one aluminized steel(BX) and one stainless steel(SS). Now there is a big difference pricewise, so i know the stainless one lasts longer, but has anyone had any problems with the aluminized one?? That's the one i was leaning more toward becasue off price! Any info is greatly appric.

 

well since i live in south florida where we dont have harsh winters and they dont ice the road or whatever im sure id be fine with the cheaper one, now up north im not sure about;\.

 

I bought mine from rpmoutlet where I have bought several things from, never had a bad experience. I went with the BX series since I live in the south away from snow and salted roads, so it should last a good while.

 

Yea, i am in NY, but my car never see's the winter and it is not my DD so do you guys think i should be fine with the BX. Also, the warranty differs from the BX to the SS. Anybody have any warranty problems??

 

I haven't had to address a warranty yet, but I've had it on my car for 2 years now. I was under the car saturday installing a hurst shifter, and the exhaust looks good still, not even discolored.

Considering you don't take it out in the winter and it's not your DD, I think you would be fine. Mine is daily driven, seen rain many times with no problems.

 

To be safe i would rub the pipe down with nipply sauce!!! just incase you get caught in a snow storm coming home from yer weekly bikini waxing!!!! That nipply sauce does wonders!!!
