That's very odd that you dont have hangers. Mine does. I will post the pic when I get home.

Anybody have any experience with this kind of clamp?

It appears that it would be exactly what I'm looking for to seal tightly around both diameters on the slip joint. What do you think?

I would take your car back to Ford and tell them to give you the mounts.

I'm pretty sure it is by design as my stock H-pipe doesn't have the hanger rods either. Plus, as seen on the 2010, there isn't any hangers on it. It's pretty solid underneath with little movement in the whole system once all bolts are tightened.

I have an 05 GT with the O/R H and Pypes mid muffler. My car has the hanger mounts as well. Maybe its ford's way of saving a little money...
