Well its been a long time coming but my Pypes Mid Muffler system showed up. I've been collecting a few goodies the last few months 4.10's, hurst, lowering springs, cmd plates. Should be putting everything on Wensday or Thursday next week cant wait The Pypes system looks real nice its packaged well and all the parts look great! I'll give a review next week.

Awsome. I cannot wait for your review - make sure to get some videos - some outside on crank up, revs and some inside driving.

Do you know if you'll be able to swap out the tips for an axleback?

You won't be disapointed, I installed mine last week, (no Cam sorry) and they sound f'n great w/ the O/R Pypes H. They are still raspy during a cold start, but quickly turn into a deep rumble. The install is'nt too bad, just take your time. Getting the over axles off was a total PITA, the drivers side took a little persuasion but it came out... the passanger site needed to have the rearend droped a little... the install of the pypes system is cake... Getting it to line up right when you are done... thats a Different Story.

Were your pipes slotted, mine were not and i had to get Pypes to send me different clamps to get everything correct. Yes I love the sound I think we have the same set up.

I'm not sure what you mean by "slotted", but my System Fit together perfectly. The only problem I had was getting the clamps on the Tips and then as mentioned before, getting everything to line up. took me about an 1 - 1 1/2 hrs to get he car jacked and the over axles off, another 1 - 1 1/2 hrs to get the pypes on... and then like 3+ hrs to get it to line up...

Question to you or anyone else that has installed this system... are the Mini mufflers ridiculously close to the gas tank... mine are less the 1/2" from it, and it scares me...

I ordered up some clamp on heat sheilds for some piece of mind.

To anyone who has heard both in person:

How does this new mid-pipe muffler system compare to FRPP Stingers?

Louder?
Deeper?
Similar?

Well got the system put on today and have to say im pretty happy with it I always thought my Flowmasters were a little quiet(but I really liked them), the pypes exhaust is probably twice as loud. At start up and idle its only a little louder then the Flows but its alot louder when sitting still and revving or punching down on it. Overall I'm really pleased with it and would say to anyone wanting a little more sound then their Flowmasters to look into this mid muffler system.
