I haven't been able to post as much latley, as I've been working a ton of hour's. :bang: For those that have been interested in the progress of my car, I wanted to give you guy's an up-date. There's alot of thing's on deck and thing's are really coming together. So here is project "Skunkwork's":

1: CDC Ducktail has arrived without emblem.
2. 3-D carbon has shipped out quarter window louver's. (I decided to go this route as no company including JMS engineering has put out a scoop that I like)
3. Scott Drake 1968 Shelby lettering for Ducktail has arrived.
4. Hallibrand wheels (satin finish) size 18x9", have been ordered. The center grey part's of wheel will be powdercoated black. Spinner's also ordered.
5. Appointment has been made with custom paint shop, Car will be painted Hot- Rod Flat Black with Gloss White racing stripes the same deminsion's I have now.
6. Exhaust will be dumped out right in front of the back tires on the side's (2 1/2" Dia.)
7. CDC aggresive chin spoiler has been ordered.
8. Steeda race motor mount's have been installed.
9. BMR Panhardbar, Panhard bar suport, and shock tower brace (all powder coated red, same as my LCA's) have been ordered.
10. Headlight cover's and fog's will be blacked out.

This work will take place through April and May, I will post Pic's as progress is made. I just wanted to give you guy's an outline and see if anyone has any idea's for me. Also I wanted to thank Future49er24 for his chop help. He helped my see some of these ideas in "Black & White".

I will keep my car and go after the Ford "GT 500" on the track.....

Justin, you will have the sickest '05 out there... probably for the next 5-10 years IMO. Can't wait to see the pics. I'll be in Vegas in May also... wouldn't mind seeing Natasha in person myself.

Just a thought, what about a flat gray for the stripes, instead of gloss white?

You know SixtySix, I thought of that combo too. I also am thinking about gloss black over the flat black. The painter is going to make me samples on sheet metal of several color's on flat black. Mabey I can make a pole out of it and post up the samples....

The Shelby letter's are replica's of the original 1968 letter's. I think they are smaller than the new one's. They will look good on the CDC Ducktail.

Will do, I'm buying a new camera just for the project.

Yah, I think your right. I just got home from the paint shop and the Gloss Black/Flat black combo will be sick, the way the two contrast each other is crazy! The painter is still working up samples and it is getting very exciting to say the least!! The painter said the Gloss Black will stand out alot on the flat and lean itself more to the steath/dark/blackout theme....

Where did you purchase the covers for the fog light? I have been looking for a while and could not find. Thanks

I'm removing the stock cover's and tinting them from the inside, then I will re-install the tinted cover's. I haven't seen any good cover's either and would be afraid they would add unnecessary bulk....
