Anyone with any new functional hoods that are also using tuners - have you adjusted your settings at all for the extra air shunted to the CAI filter??....

Ram Air is a false for our cars. Dont worry about it because it will do just about nothing for ya.

I have the RK Sport hood and the Steeda CAI kit. The opening for the hood is right over filter and inside the heat shield , so it's mostly insulated from the rest of the engine compartment. It's not actually ramming air into it , but it is putting colder air than what you would get without it. However every time either Steeda or Diablo dyno'd my car the hood was up and not closed , so it shouldn't affect the tune ...
