predator question?

I think I mentioned this earlier. Have no idea why they did that but the 4.09 works just as well as 4.10. With an analog gauge you're within 2 to 3 mph of whatever speed you think you're going anyway. I was accurate within 1 mph with mine according to my GPS and it was set up with the 4.09.

I had 4.10's installed the other day and did a reflash to compensate prior to driving it. I see no change in the RPM's on the interestate - at 80MPH I'm still right around 2500RPM, not near 3K like others have stated. And my odometer is racking up miles WAY faster than it should. The tenths roll by nearly every 2 seconds. Do I need to pull the negative battery cable for a few minutes? I figured the reflash would take care of it.
Thannks for any advice!

I also changed the speedo/tach to account for my taller than stock rear tires too.
FWIW, I'm running around 2700-2800 rpms at 80mph (but, that's with the OD gear ratio of an automatic trans).

Thanks Don - I went into "custom programs", and selected the DTP tune, then modified the axle ratio there, saved it and applied it. Should I do it elsewhere?

You probably did it right. Sounds pretty much how I did it for my C&L tune.
If you still think the speedo is off, maybe try restoring the stock tune, and starting over with the DTP tune install. Make sure you have a copy of your custom DTP tune on your PC first... just in case the Predator resets and loses it. If you're using the U7140, you might as well upgarde to r22 as well (if you haven't already).
