This is very nice.Have not taken the OEM one out yet to compare but,It is very light.
the stock piece is heavy as $hit you will see,that is a nice piece,hope to get 1 soon.

Hey Mike,
Where can I get one and how much. Others are as much a $750 - $1000 bucks. Not worth that , but I would spend say $400.

Just bought one of thos aluminum shafts. I can't wait til the car is back and i can bolt it in. I did not want to change pinion flanges and all that involved in Ranger shaft conversion. This shaft bolts right in from the box.

I took out the stock shaft to put in the new clutch and the thing weighs nearly 65 lbs. I could barely get it out of the car. Also to let you guys know the bolts on the rear end side are tough to get out with a ratchet alone. use something that will spin them out once you break them loose.

I highly doubt it was just shortened. I have spoken with the guys at Powerhouse quite a few times. And from what I was told it will hold a 1000 horsepower. I don't think a ranger factory shaft would have that kind of strength?

The shaft itself might be but i am sure the ranger doesnt come with heavyduty Spicer Joints and Spicer adapters.I did notice there sticker is right over a part number thou.

That thing does look good. It should solve one of the "clunks" in the car, too, right? I remember someone saying there are some sort of bushing in the stock two-piece that make some of the noise...
