My PMM system has a vibration (rattle) at 2400 RPM exactly, and it's especially noticeable on decel and up shifts when the tach falls through that RPM range. I looked everywhere and couldn't find any contact, so I started to suspect the incomplete welds in the mufflers themselves. If you look inside my mufflers, the rolled perforated metal sheet was not completely welded from one side to the other. I'm going to check the hangars, but if I can't find any issues there, I'm calling Pypes. I also have a ton of rust, even on the mufflers and tips. The system has only been on the car for 3 months.

No welds here. Just the supplied band clamps. I tried to move the pipes around especially at the joints with no luck, so I don't think the issue is loose clamps.

ill have to listen carefully for it and see if it rattles on me, if so i will just bend it or cut a 1/2" off so it doesnt touch

Dam, after two days of driving I have had no vibrations and I think this exhaust sounds perfect!!! It gets better every dayI am really glad I made the switch from the stingers.I feel that if more people heard this system it would be the exhaust of choice for the s197... Just my thoughts...
