I hear a lot of talk about X plan and the dealers not accepting it, but what about A plan? Will a dealer sell a car off the lot on A plan? Are they required to uphold it? I understand that if the car is ordered, the dealer will accept the a plan, right?

I went through 13 local dealers before I found one that would order a GT for me on A/Z plan, and incidentally this same dealer will NOT do X-Plan on a new GT.

More than likely you will not find a dealer that will sell you a car off the lot for A/Z plan, they can make much more money off it selling it to someone else, but look around you may be able to find a dealer that will order you one.

Section8 is right on based on my experience. I was able to order a GT on A-plan but, could not buy off the lot anywhere in town. My dealer doesn't give X-plan.

You also have to be on employee or immediate family member to get A-plan.
