Had the tires mounted Friday at 7:30 and already had a good chance to test them dry and in the rain! Excellent traction!

honestly, i dont think the fronts are touching....those marks came from something else... you would have to jump your stang to get the tires to touch like that... then it would be a rubbing pattern then... its as if the tire just touched it without turning....
weird.
and also, screw nitrogen. there is no benefit on mileage, or tire wear. i believe mythbusters cracked this one even. its just something for shops to sell and make cash on. i always fill mine with just air, people have been doing it for years without problems!!!

Ya i tried the nitrogen mainly because supposidly it takes less to keep their pressure right... here in mississippi when it starts getting cold its weird... one day ull be in the 20s next in the 60s... its hard to maintain a constant tire pressure!

I honestly dont know what happened with the tire and the scrub marks! I have not hit a big bump at any unsafe speeds... they just suddenly appeared in the fender wells I am confused as can be! I have not felt them scrub once to tell the truth!

Those tires sure look good. Thanks for posting pics, love the Redfire too.
I have not decided yet between an all season or a summer tire, it gets cold up here but the car is not a daily driver and has been used only for cruising around. Most important for me is quiet and smooth. I get the feeling that all season tires may be a little softer in the sidewall by the ratings and what I read.
If I go with a summer tire it will be the Re750 on
17x9 anthracite bullits.
My Pirelli's only have 2000 miles on them and are good tires but they are just too small looking. I can keep them for winter as the car will not be driven in snow but will be in the cold.
I don't think your tires are rubbing either but have no idea where the marks came from.

Those do look nice. It is about time for me to decide on new tires or new wheel and tires and I still can not make up my mind.
On the marks on your wheel well I have them too. I always just assumed they are from the stamping process. Or maybe its an 05 special.

You're front tires aren't rubbing the inner fender well. My 05 has that same little pattern in the fenderwell, ever since new. I suppose it was something in the molds they make them from. They are just plastic.

what a relief glad they are not rubbing! Guess I just never payed that close attention before... I will get some better pictures soon we had a good bit of cloud cover today... Love the tire width and the ride the tires provide! They stick like glue! It rained very heavy yesterday with lots of standing water on the road and the tires tracked very steady and deliver lots of confidence!

I noticed a noticable increase in handling in both dry and wet conditions... the tires defiantly seem better planted on the ground... its a little harder to chirp second but not bad... I feel a few more bumps on the road but overall not bad at all... I love these tires!

I can't imagine there being any difference between air or nitrogen.
The Pirellis seem very hard and a little numb as to what level of grip is there to be had. Should be a much better tire then the stockers.

Eh the dealer badge does not bother me... I am good friends with the owner of the dealership so I dont mind supporting them around town with a little badge... The nitrogen is supposed to require less maintaining during the winter because nitrogen does not expand like oxygen creating a loss in PSI... it was like 20 bucks and they fill them up for the duration of the tirelife with no extra charges so I just figured I would try it out.

I either read or was told that nitrogen has larger molicules so you lose less than you would with just air, also it's less prone to expansion and contraction in hot or cold weather. I wouldn't pay extra for it myself but I can't see any harm in it, unless they charge more than a few bucks for it. Sure refills will be free but I'd rather just use my little compresser at home rather than drive anywhere for a top off. You have a nice looking ride and as others have said that pattern is normal, part of the manufacturing process.
ack, didn't read the part where you paid $20 for it, ouch! Next time say no

Does anyone have pics of these tires on the stock Bullitts? I have the Bullitts and would like to see some pics of them with these tires. Thanks!
