Hi,

I was wondering what kind of performance gains I can expect from these mods? I ordered the C & L/Predator combo, which I am installing tonight. I also have Magnaflow axlebacks and removed HC trap. 0-60? 1/4 ? SOTP?

Just a ballpark from you guys with similar mods?

thanks!

Read My Signature that should give you a ball park figure. 0-60 is around 4.8 or better.

do you know what makes me laugh is that fact that we will have the same performance mods and we both have the same name.

Sounds like we got pretty smilar setup! (and the same name) Lol.
I got the Eibachs as well. So no problems with the tune? Easy to install?

hey Robert,

I see you're from Riverside.
Where did you go do your 1/4 mile runs? I am new to drag racing but I wanna get out there and see what I can do.

California Dragway in Fontana is the closest 1/4-mi track to Riverside.

yeah thats where i went. And I go to Irwindale for 1/8th mile racing. My work is 30 min or less from there. Every thursday night they have racing.

In my opinion SOP is great and doing 40 mph in 2nd and reving up to 6000 and dumping the clutch is fun too. You get all kinds of sideways

I run 91 octane and somehow it dosnt ping! So dont ask how it just works. I havent dynoed it with that tune. Its the only tune that let me rev to 7000 rpms. But I will go into it more later. I have to run at the moment. I will be on at about 10 tonight.

Imatk,

you should be ok with Magnaflows, both smog and sound wise. They have a smooth, deep sound without being annoyingly loud. I'm not sure about the cats, though.

You have six years before you need to be inspected... if it's a 2005, no inspection until 2011... mod away!!!

I have the Magnaflow cat-backs and the C & L. Between the "canned" Diablo tune and then further tweaking on the dyno: +30 rwhp! I think you'll be pleased.

Eric... when you had your dynos done, were they able to "lock" your tranny in 4th gear? Also, what is your best 1/8-mi time so far?
