Yes but that was at the crank on an engine out of the car but still thats nice.

Wow,

That is a lot of hp without cooling the charge..... I would assume that the engine has to have forged internals at that power level...

I just finished the article - pretty good numbers. I don't think that pushing 12 psi at 6200 RPM is very smart without forged internals, but in the controlled environment with the FAST computer keeping an eye on A:F ratio and timing, they can do it. It is a good read for anyone out there that hasn't read their copy yet...

I believe they also ran race gas which keeps it out of detonation.

They also had a bunch of little things missing and aftermarket headers, thay were running nothing infront of the bloewer (no maf or intake tubeing to restrict the motor) and the were running no exhaust except for strait pipes after the headers, not to menchon that the motor was run out of the car. Those are still impressive numbers anyways!!! Did anyone but me notice that they said HP Performance was done with a turbo kit? Someone please varify this.

they were using the accessories with the blower, they had to to get the belt routing

I'm in Iraq, so I haven't got my issue yet. Did someone ment HP turbo kit though? Those are some great numbers though.
