Scott, I ordered a panhard bar today from J&M products - hotparts.com. Spherical ends, Aircraft grade Aluminum and adjustable on both ends 109.00. 122.00 shipped. I asked them about the deadening filler, they said as far as they know none fo the performance panhard bars come with the filler! Less weight !

Well I can say that the BMR, Steeda and CHE do not have the sand in them.

Ok so now I'm confused..what adjustable bar do you get if you hate noise and don't want to have to grease them constantly..Another words, whats the best??

I went with the Edelbrock panhard bar.Its adjustable. From Jegs,it was $110.00 shipped. The only problem I encountered was you need a 90 degree grease zerk on the drivers side.I spent a couple bucks for small bag of zerks at auto zone.

Chuck, I think thats the big question ? I'm afraid the aluminum one I've got ordered from J&M will transfer noise like a guitar string! I'll soon find out, but from most posts almost everyone talks about more noise after going to a aftermarket Panhard bar!

I just installed the Steeda Panhard Bar and Brace. I too noted the sand like feeling inside the stock bar and figured it was for sound deadening. I have not noted any increase in NVH, no squeeks or pops. Solid piece, much more planted rear end.

I have the BMR w/urethane ends and it has no dampening material in it. I keep the stock one next to my didgeridoo

With spherical ends, you'll hear it... I can almost guarantee it.

Poly ends are quieter than the spherical rod ends.

Yep! I'm afraid your right Don, I got caught up in the precision aspect of spherical ends, it makes sense when you think about no bushings to deaden the sound transfer with spherical ends! I'll soon find out!

O you will hear lots of noise with the sperical ends. I installed one on my car and removed it the next week as soon as it's replacmenet showed up.

My personal choice is CHE

I have spherical ends on my LCAs. They do make noise, but it's not unbearable. I really only hear them at low speeds and on bumpy roads. After over a year and 14,000 miles, I'm not the least bit inclined to get rid of them.

dig that avatar Jeff. If you know how far your stock bar is off its easy to set the new bar before you put it on.

I have a friend who has the Maximum Motorsports PHB. It may not have poly bushings, but he said he doesnt have any bad NHV. And it's his wifes car and she loves it.
