The job was $1400.00 and included fixing two chips on the front bumper, complete repaint of the hood/bumpers/roof, 5 coats of Performance White covered by 3 coats of clear and buffed to a smooth finish without ridges on the stripes. The owner of the shop also loaned me his F150 for the 3 weeks he took to keep my car in his shop. Expensive, but worth it IMO when you see it in person.

Wow, I'd say it is worth it just based on the pics, too! Very, very nice.

Man Derek, that look's AWSOME!!! They did a killer job on your Pony. Well worth the wait for sure. I like on the front view, how the white stripe "caches" the cowl line! I bet the stripes and the paint over all, shines like a mirror!! I will definatley go this route when I re-paint. Nice Job!!!!

Looks good!

White or Silver are the two best options on stripes IMO.

I still like the stock hood better on the 05, but I always liked the hoods with side nostrils on the older Cobras and who knows, I may replace my hood if I can get exactly what I want for the 05.

Derek... that looks awesome. I have a question though... you said complete repaint of the bumbers/hood/roof. Do you mean that they sanded and painted the entire hood/bumpers/roof blue prior to taping it off and painting the stripes? Obviously they had to repaint the cowl hood, but not the bumpers and roof... or did they do that too? And $1400 is really not a lot for what they did. Well worth it in my opinion. And I actually like the cowl hood with stripes. It looks really good. I'll be getting an "Eleanor" hood from Cervinis (with the bump out) and then having the hood painted and having my black stripes painted on instead of the vinyl. So, I'm trying to get an idea on price from you since you basically had the same thing done to your car.

One more question... where did you get your rocker stripes? Are those painted on also, or is it vinyl? And if it's vinyl, where did you get it from?

Sweeet stipes but the metal wire to your hood pins looks too long in my opinion.

Those stripes are photoshopped. There is no reflection coming off of the 2nd pic at all even though the blue has the reflection. I love the cowl hood though

edit: maybe it's b/c the pic is resized incorrectly making everything look jagged. Is there a way to get a better/smoother pic? Otherwise the stripes look horribly done

They did sand the bumpers/hood/roof/deck lid/wing. I had a damaged area over the passenger side roof that was poorly fixed by Ford prior to my pickup of the car. The damage was from the transport driver stepping off of the transport trailer on to my roof upon delivery. Paint/tape/misc. supplies was $200.00ish and labor was 35 hours at $35.00/hr instead of their normal $40.00/hr. The side stripes are vinyl and I put them on myself. I purchased them from Graphics Express in Inverness Fl. I ordered them in Oct of 04 the day I ordered my car. They did not have 05 graphics out yet so I used the universal kit that fit up to 04 Mustangs. I believe they were $84.00 and took about 2 hours to apply.
