OOOPS!!! and WOW!!!

Today I installed my Eibach Pro springs and Tokico d-specs, along with the granatelli Panhard brace upper and lower.

On the install I made a error....

OOPS....

torqueing down the hats on the struts I misread the torque specs in the book, looking at the strut center bolt torque and ended up twisting off one of the 4 nuts on the passenger side. Then I realized my mistake and corrected it and torqued the rest down properly.

I'm assuming I can just order the stud? or does anyone know if i have to order the entire hat/studs and nuts?

Live and learn I guess.... (dumb mistake)

the WOW part is taking the car for a test drive through a canyon afteward... NOTHING too crazy, just a liesure stroll and the car handles sooo much better than stock!

I can't wait to get it onto the track next month at Willow Springs!

I'm continued to be amazed by how good this car responds to aftermarket stuff....

Thanks Ford, you finally made a newer Mustang worthy of the name!

I did the same thing...my tq wrench was to big and wound up twisting one off too. I had to get a new black round part with the 4 studs attached. They had it in stock and it was safe to ride like that for a few days.
