Old School Side Louvers Installed
Finally got the Old School Side Louvers installed.
Side Louvers are from Silver Horse Racing $150.
Paint ($150) and install ($150) by John's Auto Body, Imperial, MO. Louvers are painted black on the exterior and painted to match the interior color.
Bad weather has prevented posting earlier.
These things are the *****'in. (old school term)

Here ya go........taken today.
Note:
On the front picture you will notice that the fog lamps have been removed. The openings are now being used as air intakes for the WMS Ram Air Intake. Fog lamps have been installed in the lower grille.
When the car is moving air is coming in through the fog lamp openings and is fed into the sealed ram hood area. This is to help overcome the pressure drop that the air filter represents.

Color scheme looks much better once you see the whole car.

How do you clean the glass under the louver? I know you can clean the inside from the backseat, but how do you clean the outside glass that is exposed??

I really didn't like the black louvers until I saw the whole car, but very nice! I like! The Cervinis B2 shaker hood and nose kit would look killer on your car! Very retro. Nice touch with the MUSTANG letters under the bumper. Most people will never see that unless they pull up behind you at a light. Also, great idea for the WMS. I have the Ca.Dream hood, and I'd love to adapt it to that WMS intake. TMS member Fordcrazy has done it with that hood, but I haven't had the guts yet. Kudos for your creativity!
Hey, we were recently neighbors. I just moved from the Alton, Illinois area to Denver. I like it here better.

I dont get it, so do you just have open space with nothing to stop rain and bugs and everything else from coming in or not? I really like that they are flush with the boddy. I've seen them on other cars here but i've never been able to figure out what keeps out the elements.

Remove factory glass
Put new adhesive down (same as used for factory glass)
Install louvers as if they were factory glass.
The louvers are a solid piece of lexan. There is no openings for the passthrough of air/bugs/etc. Just think of it as a piece of glass that's been bent to look like a louver, then painted to match the car :-)
