I have about 750 miles on my car, I've driven it hard a couple times, mostly after I put 500 miles on it. I went to check my oil today and saw that it was down about 3/4 of a quart. Is this normal? Should my GT be consuming this much oil now?

mine has done the same, im not sure what kind of oil to top it off with either, i may just cange it. Durring initinal break in the engine will burn some off. Alot is going durring the first coulple of hundred miles. maybe we will get a better answer on here.

Mine did the same, hasn't dropped any farther and I've got 1300 miles on it. Owners manual says "If the oil level is between the MIN—MAX marks, the oil level is acceptable. DO NOT ADD OIL." I haven't added any. Plan to change it a 3k.

My guess with yours is it won't drop much farther in the next 2000 miles.

It's very possible that the oil level wasn't all the way up at the full mark right from the factory. Mine was a little low at first.
