Also I live in TEXAS an the faux (hollow) cats are a big plus for our visual inspection.
You'll be pleased w/ the quality, and I'm certain that ALL stainless headers turn purplish at one point. No big deal.

fyi, this is what they will look like over time. http://media.photobucket.com/image/r...8a25798eaa.jpg

Hey guys....been running OBX longtubes for 4 1/2 years now with absolutely no issues. Go get them. Here is a write up I did on my car and another freinds car back in Jan. of 08. As you will read I caught alot of crap about buying these because guys thought they were from China which is not true. I believe they are Tiawan made to be exact. OBX makes tons of quality products.

No I have never had any rubbing. But that is because of the Prothane motor mounts. They are a must.

They work just fine on a daily driver. That is what my car is. You will get a little bit more noise and vibration transmitted from the engine. But it will also transmitt more power to the ground do to less engine wind up on hard acceleration. There are trade off's to all mods. But if you are running longtubes they are a must.

I can't say for sure because I have never done it but I would think it would be very difficult to do. I know for sure you would have to remove the header H-pipe at a minimum.

The stiff mounts makes you feel like you're one w/ the car, add a good shifter and you really have a butt dyno. Gives it the feel of a big block.
