You'll be pleased w/ the quality, and I'm certain that ALL stainless headers turn purplish at one point. No big deal.
Will they not fit at all? Also what brand/type of mount do I need to look for?

I think they're actually resonators

Hey guys....been running OBX longtubes for 4 1/2 years now with absolutely no issues. Go get them. Here is a write up I did on my car and another freinds car back in Jan. of 08. As you will read I caught alot of crap about buying these because guys thought they were from China which is not true. I believe they are Tiawan made to be exact. OBX makes tons of quality products.

It's made of 304 stainless which is pretty good if you know your metals, 316 is what they use in jewelry and medical tools

That's not rust that's from heat, I'm a welder and I specialize in SS and all that can be removed with a wire brush, but it in no way effects performance or quality, a 1200 dollar pair of kooks will do the same

Check out the quaility on those welds. So in time you can expect these puppies to still be running strong.

That was a good review in the link you posted. The guy I bought em from already had the one pipe dented in to clear the steering column. Have you had any trouble with rubbing since you posted?

No I have never had any rubbing. But that is because of the Prothane motor mounts. They are a must.

^ what he said, that is from heat and those look like natural headers also. I have 4 y/o coated JBA headers that still look great, the uncoated will blue right up like those but that doesn't hurt a thing.

muscledom enjoy the headers

They work just fine on a daily driver. That is what my car is. You will get a little bit more noise and vibration transmitted from the engine. But it will also transmitt more power to the ground do to less engine wind up on hard acceleration. There are trade off's to all mods. But if you are running longtubes they are a must.

I want longtubes but I want to be able to remove the trans with removing the headers, is this still possible? I heard with bbk you have to remove the passenger side

I can't say for sure because I have never done it but I would think it would be very difficult to do. I know for sure you would have to remove the header H-pipe at a minimum.

Yep! And now that I'm cammed, the motor mount are even more handy. My car will rock a baby to sleep, although the Exhaust will wake it up.
The stiff mounts makes you feel like you're one w/ the car, add a good shifter and you really have a butt dyno. Gives it the feel of a big block.

Cool, I've been putting down sound deadening since I get tolerable drone now but know my future mods will up the sound of everything.
