OBX Headers & Pypes mid muffler system

Just got my OBX headers installed today. Many thanks to my friend,Scott(70MACH1OWNER) who graciously offered his garge & assistance for the install.
It took us 2 older gentlemen 6hrs approx for the install. Quality of the parts was excellent, fit was average, had 2 minor tweaks needed. Noticable performance increase IMO.The primaries are 1 5/8"
Tips, buy header bolts, trim the alignment tabs off the O2 extenders & plug in your O2 extenders before installing headers,to the car connectors.
It's quite a bit louder, inside & out. Got my 93 tune modified by Brent @ Brenspeed, rear O2 sensors switched off.I bought O2 extenders from there also, but as mentioned, you'll have to cut off the alignment tabs, the connectors still lock in.

It's much louder in person IMO

Thanks for the clip. Sounds friggin' awesome. I'm definitely sold on them now. Did you use the off-road pipes, or the resonator pipes.

DarkFire,
I used the H with the resonators. Glad I didn't use the straight H It's quite a bit louder as is.

Unfornately those video clips don't do Larry's car justice. It sounds way better in person. When we went for a short ride I did not detect any of the dreaded drone I thought might show up. No one should be concerned with buying these OBX headers. Their quality was great. The welds were very impressive. I also calipered the flange thickness of one of the headers at between .410 to .430 thick. So they are almost 7/16 thick. And a magnet had no draw to it at all meaning they are 304 SS. Overall a very impressive product for $450 bucks. They will go on my car!!

Well today I will be putting on my Spydershaft but I am going to go find a low boy creeper like Larry had first. No more playing Rotundo Rollo on the cold concrete for me! And Darrell...I am the official pooper scooper around this house. :-)

All I have to say is...

That sounds like the exhaust Satan would have on his Mustang.

OBX headers are going to be the next mod to mine.

Larmo,
I don't even have the OBX headers yet and I can answer this question. "They won't mate easily or at all." Were the OBX headers end and my Prochamber starts at would not make it easy at all to connect them. So after seeing Larry's headers my little mind has been thinking it would be easier to weld up a Prochamber style box on the OBX H-pipe. I know that's still alot of work but if you still want the Prochamber type of sound that would be the way to do it.

Hey Larry,
I ordered my OBX headers 2 days ago and have not received any kind of confirmation from the guy selling them. I have Paypal receipt that I paid him but that's it. Did he contact you in any way or send you shipping info for tracking?

Scott, I don't have experience with this seller, but with this time of year, I'd give it a few days to process. I just got something I bought on ebay 10 days ago, the tracking # still says the package just got picked up!!

Hey John,
You are probably right. Guess I am just getting a little anxious.

See is a little more relaxed now. She rarely moves as fast as see did when Larry fired his car with open headers.

Scott,
I had emailed him about shipping & got a shipping conformation email the following day. Give it 3-4 days & after that, start pestering him about shipping info.
