I went with the Macs with the Prochambers... so that was what I voted for. Kinda hard to say I just got them on the car 3 weeks ago and I think you should go for a different setup.

For the record, I like the way my car sounds and hopefully I'll have some dyno numbers soon.

man this is a crappy decision....

i want long tubes but i dont want to pay 1500 for a decent setup..

maybe i will do a good set of shorties and the MM's
then later on replace the stock cats with the prochamber mid

is there a prochamber setup that will bolt up in place of the stock mid pipe?

if there is than thats probably what i will do....

I had a prochamber with the off road legs, and it bolted right in place of the stock midpipe. I am not sure if they offer a catted version of the prochamber that bolts right up. They probably do, but if not...you will have to do some cutting on your stock midpipe to put the prochamber on.

i wouldnt mind going catless if i had the prochamber...

i just dont want the raspiness that removal of the cats induces
and others have said on here that the prochamber keeps it growly but not raspy, perfect sound im looking for!

personally i wouldn't go with shorties. the sound and and power gains from long tubes are UNREAL. thats the only performance mod on my car and i'm at 290rwhp. its a totally different car now, its scary to go WOT

hmm that just makes things harder.....

i was thinking of going with this

mac prochamber for stock cats: 300 http://www.lmperformance.com/5597/73.html

bbk ceramic shorties: 370 http://www.lmperformance.com/6573/73.html

and the pipes mm setup... that would put me at around 1k which im happy with....

but i know long tubes would be so much better... crap but it puts me at 970 total

mac pro chamber: http://www.lmperformance.com/5718/73.html 420

and MM setup... would put me at 1170 or so...

the BBK ceramics are only 515, how much better is the quality on the bbk's compared to the mac's in your guys opinion???

anyone with the bbk or macs please speak up. the price difference isnt much but i wanna know which is better, if the macs are the same quality i would go with them and match brands on the header and mid pipe if possible

unless you are willing to fabricate, i'm pretty sure the prochamber will only fit with the mac headers.

i've heard nothing but good things about bbk. also, i think bbks are full length long tubes while macs are not

bbk ceramic lt's : http://www.lmperformance.com/7817/73.html 520
bbk x pipe: http://www.lmperformance.com/7818/73.html 210, or with cats 350

and mm

that puts me at 1k, or 1150 with cats... hmmm

Not sure where you are located in the states....but if you want the most power from this setup........loose the cats!!!!!! You know your local laws!!

does anyone have a pic of how far back the LT's run?

just wondering how much fabbing would need to be done to run the pro chamber with the bbk's????

after poking around it looks like i would have to add a few inches to the front of the pro chamber and make it mate to the header... hmmmm

doesnt look too hard at all, but i would rather be able to just bolt everything together nice and easy

its looking like the setup that slamman is running is the winner so far, LT's and high flow cats.... hmmm

theres a thread with pics, vid, and review of bbk lts, catted x, and mid muffler system. from the look of it, the cats are extremely small and supposedly flow really well in case an off road setup isnt something you want.

bbk ceramic lt's : http://www.lmperformance.com/7817/73.html 520
bbk x pipe: http://www.lmperformance.com/7818/73.html 210, or with cats 350

and mm

if i were you, that is the setup i would go with. thats a quality setup with great hp gains and incredible sound

well i think i have my setup chosen, unless someone comes up with something else to throw me off

bbk full length 1641: 515.41
bbk x with cats 1637: 351.97
pipes MM setup: 299.99

that puts me at 1168, plus a little shipping probably

not too bad, for a full exhaust with LT's and high flow cats...
