O/R X pipe question

I'm about to order the Pypes O/R X pipe from AM, my question is will it be safe to drive with it without a tune for a week? I can't get the tuner till next pay day. I figured it my throw A CEL light. I just hate to wait lol

Not sure if it'll hurt anything but you'll definitely get a CEL. I'd wait. It sucks, but I have to do it all the time lol.

Order the tuner first than Xpipe or wait to order them both at the same time.

I'm getting the x pipe first, I have a coupon for pypes that's about to expire and a discount from AM so I gotta get the X first

Is there anyway to run the o/r pipe without the tuner? Can I just have someone clear the o2 sensor code? Or no haha

Better off just getting a tuner. They should keep the light off but that's all they do. Lot more gains with the tuner.

Right. But the Eliminators are cheap... expecially if you hand make them I made a set for under 30$

Yeah price is mainly what I was getting at. I appreciate the input from both sides guys. I can just never bring myself to pull the trigger on the tuner
