Sounds like you need to make an adjustment to your right foot

Seriously, you are concerned about a 1.5mpg drop after changing tunes??

LOL That is pretty pretty funny when you do the math. Unless a robot is driving you're going to have variables, but worrying about losing about 24 miles isn't worth the stress. Oh and a better performing engine will require more fuel.

Nah...no need to do that. I guess what I would ask is the new tune give you a better butt dyno feeling then Tillmans??? If not then go back. Sure you can lose that much from a tune. But if you didn't get anything to show for it....dump it!!!

check to make sure your speedo is accurate. I use my phone with gps to track my speed to verify its accurate. Have been as much as 8 MPH off at highway speed.

Also, check your tire pressures. Some cars are very sensitive to tire pressure affecting fuel mileage.

I know on my last car, the new intake and exhaust really made my mileage drop!

Well cell phones aren't that accurate.

Yeah my mileage dropped almost 5mpg on my first tank after installing longtubes and delete plates.

It's gotten better since then though!

If it's a decent smart phone with a decent GPS app with an actual GPS receiver built in, asking the app to simply calculate your speed is about as simple a task as it will handle today, and would be plenty accurate. As accurate as any Tomtom or Garmin

Cell phone GPS is not a true Global postioning system, it is triangulation between cell towers. It is an estimate of where you are at and how fast you are going. If the unit is not using 4 to 5 satellites for positioning it is an estimate.

My android phone does have a built in gps. However I get better results using a blue tooth "mouse" gps up on the dash with the phone though.
