I have one very important item to add to your list. Make sure you have the highest octane fuel you can buy on the street in your car and it wouldn't hurt to add some octane booster or a little race gas (Unleaded of course) to your tank, this will ensure your octane rating is high enough for running N20. There is a reason that cars with nitrous systems have a dedicated fuel source a lot of times and they always should be running race gas in that fuel cell.

I typically let the car run down to fumes in the gas tank before going to the strip, or I can remove the fuel line from the Zex FMU and turn on the key with the braided line in a jug to catch the fuel. After I have enough fuel out of the car then I add some high octane race fuel. About 2-3 gallons or up to 5 sometimes.

Good point. I have ben runnig half 91 octane and half 100 octane race fuel all summer. I started doing that when it got real hot out here as detonation protection and have been running it ever since. With gas prices the way they are there really isn't a big price difference between premium and race fuel anymore anyway...

So what do you guy's think about making one tune for N/A and Nitrous? I don't want to change back and forth between tunes, that is a PITA. Also If I'm on the street and were to need it I don't want to have to say "wait a sec I have to retune my car first..."That kinda defeates the purpose of buying remote bottle opener's which wern't cheep either (for two bottles none the less). I want to stay with a 75 shot maybe a 100 shot if everything is good. I will be puting in the colder plug's (HT0) and runing the half racing fuel mixture at all times. If I can keep my total timing at WOT around 26-27 deg. and my fuel ratio at 12.1-12.2 I should be o.k. I think that set up would still be good not on the juice. What do you guy's think? I'm looking for another tuner as I lost confidence in the last guy, who has never tuned for nitrous. :bang:

I have had my system fully installed for a month and a half now and still haven't "hit it". I'm going to make sure everything is right and properly tuned. That is a major feat in this valley of no talent. :bang: I think a may have to go to California to get the result's I want, a perfect tune.

I also almost made my first run on my motor only tune with the 150 shot.As I was moving up in staging lanes it all of a sudden dawned on me that I did not load the NOS tune. That would of been devastating.leave checklist in view next time.

I'll share a little trick that Lidio taught me... For my N20 tune I have the Park/Neutral Idle to set to 1000RPM... when I'm in the staging lane and I'm in park or neutral, my Tach better read 1000! LOL! Just another visual reminder that I have the right tune loaded...

I'm trying to develop one tune for all purposes...I'm staying with the 75 HP shot, and installing colder plugs gaped down to .032's.
That would be cool. I don't like having to have separate street and track tunes...what if some **** tried to challenge you on the street? "Wait, let me pull over and load my nitrous tune, please." Hehe.

P.S. Street racing is bad.

The current weather report for this weekend is rain on Sat and Sun. Wednesday and Friday night will be clear but in the 30s. That could be good or bad. George you going Wednesday?

Mike is going to want a Steeda shifter after he feels mine.

That pump won't work for us. It's not designed to work on a returnless fuel system.
Good to know, thank's George.
