Yeah, he's already sold over 100 of them with no negative feedback.

I'm leaning towards the Coast. I've been to the Spyder website and read through their info on how they don't recommend the use of adapter plates. However, I've read a couple posts where guys have started to get some gear whine after installing the pinion flange.

To me, it's not worth messing with my quiet 4.10's. I'll go for the adapter plate as I'm sure it'll work just fine.

spyder shaft owner here and love it. One small issue with rubbing on hard accel or at speed going over large dips. Easy fix, mallet to give just a hair more clearance and no other issues. I would recommend to anyone.

Do you recommend the Shaft or use of the mallet or both!......

it's just my opinion but i really don't like using adapters on anything. it's just the fact that you're trying to mate two incompatible components together with something thats got to be engineered perfectly or else it doesn't work. some of the companies have it figured out and some don't. i just feel that the stock flange needs to be changed since it's actually made for a CV joint not a u-joint. so far i have received no complaints of gear whine after installing the new pinion flange.
the stock driveshafts absorb an incredible amount of NVH from all the driveline components so no matter which brand one piece driveshaft you go with if you have an issue elsewhere(tires unbalanced, wheels machined incorrectly etc.) it will become more noticeable.
yeah i just have one product right now. i don't really want to sell anything other than what i make/develop. the traction bars seem fine but i do have one more thing i want to try before i start selling them. i just got the necessary components in today so i'll get them worked out this weekend.
any questions you can email me directly at ron@leonardracingproducts.com

I think Granatelli is coming out with a 3.5" aluminum driveshaft as well.

once you upgrade your UCA that problem will disappear. the stock UCA has those big goofy bushings which allow the rear housing to rotate way too much during acceleration and during suspension travel. lowering also decreases the clearance in the tunnel.
