hey i'm a newbie here at the source. i came over from the other mustang forum. got tired of reading posts like: what is the best air for my tires?
anyway just want to know what times you guys are running N/A. especially autos. i haven't been able to run since mine got dyno tuned so bradenton will be my shakedown i guess. this forum has lots of great stuff and you guys seem more my type. run it hard put it away with the rubber still on.
thanks!!

Welcome, Ron. Take a look at this thread. I suspect it will get new posts added to it as other parts of the country thaw out.

p.s. Good choice leaving there. A bunch of us fled back in July... it got real bad.

yeah just annoyed and needed to get some real info on stuff. saw you guys have some fast cars so i figured this is the place i want to be. just wanting to know how fast these things will go n/a. i know some of you guys are running well into the 11's with n2o so i would imagine you are running low 12's? you fast guys has anyone moved the i.c. yet(metco or bmr brackets)? did it help?

There are a few guys into the mid/high 12 NA. And a few more knocking on the door. The guys in the low 12s and 11s almost always have some sort of power adder.

Also, make sure you check out the GT Tech & Performance forum. Most of the tech info is there.

Blazing Saddles had pretty much the same list of mods you have now and was running 12.7s but with 4.10s. Do you have line locks? Your burnouts may not be up to par

Dustin... look at spyder's sig. It says that his "best et is 13.08 at only 103mph before the new mods were done.( suspension, headers and dyno tuned)". It also says he is waiting on drag radials. So, George did have a couple advantages I think.

yeah that run wasn't the best. the mph was low but still higher than the run before 13.18 @100.8! on the .08 run converter locked up in high gear right at the mph light so i think that was the difference between the two runs.
no line locks i have them in a box but may not put them on. i've heard they don't work well with the diagonal abs and drive by wire system. a guy on the other forum had problems with his throttle cutting out when he did a burnout with the locks on. i have no problem with stock tires doing a burnout. it doesn't need much with the pirellis just a light haze and straight to the line. with 23psi it hooked pretty well 60' was 1.84 330'=5.35 and 1/8=8.31@83.34mph. with 1/2 tank of gas and spare still in. my tuner has picked me up 49 ft.lbs. of torque peak and 14hp across the board. my torque was also lowered to peak at 3300 instead of 4400. at 3300 he gained 73ft.lbs. of torque! hoping that will help the 60' and getting the converter lockup in high gear should help top end.
i really want low 12's N/A if i can do it. i hope JPC gets my wheels soon i wanna get ready for bradenton.
