You'll have to fess up to the dealer your woes and have more woes.
They'll have to reload your factory tune.

Good luck!
Even after returning the car to stock, does a copy of the stock tune stay on the unit? I have noticed that when I return to stock to have my car serviced and then reload my performance tune, it loads quickly and does not save the factory tune. What happens if my dealer loads a new stock on the car, does the unit not erase this one and keep the older version?

I asked the same question to Brent and here is his reply:

Hi Tom,

We have all the stock tunes here so if you ever need one I can get one
for
you. If the Xcal2 ever gets stolen or anything like that you will need
a
special tuner to get the stock tune on. I have that, and I would ship
it to
you with a stock tune loaded and that would get you back up and
running. SCT
has the stock tunes also.

THANKS

Well now dam*it that just absolutely sucks!!!!

That was one thing holding me back from purchasing a tuner and now someone, or it appears a few places, just happen to have stock tunes laying around to take that excuse away from me...

Crap, one step closer to popping the stock hp cherry and moving forward with modding, or actually a performance mod. I have done some mods already, Roush rear spoiler and IMCO exhaust, but that's just kiddy stuff, little steps before big steps...

So I have been reading a LOT of good things about Brenspeed and their tuning. What type of hp gain with just the SCT and no intake for 87, 89, and 91 octane?
