You have his off road H pipe or another brand? I would love to hear the sound with LT's...this is a setup im looking into
Post that vid
Did the LTs hook up to the H easy or does a muffler shop have to get involved?
I will try to answer all your questions.
Your stock catted H pipe would not be near as loud. There is a huge sound difference between cats and no cats on these cars.
Yes I am going to test more mufflers. What I am trying to do is not so much get every brand tested but different designs. The design of the muffler dictates greatly how the car will sound.
The Pypes H-pipe is for shorty/stock style headers not for long tubes. I dont have plans for a long tube H-pipe. I know some of the manufacturers of long tubes have long tube H-pipes.
LCA's, What I call serious are the aluminum street/strip they are solid on one end and have a soft bushing on the other. So far they have worked awesome and I dont notice any vibration. Most manufacturers are going to harder bushings because of the splitting.
I really have only been using Steeda's all season. I know there are other good ones out there. Steeda was one of the first ones to have LCA's so that is what I started using and have been working with them ever since. Now there are several other companies that make them. I am hoping to try out a less expensive version shortly.

Do all off road H's sound the same or would different brands for LT's change the sond?

Wow awesome vid!!! Question...do your H pipes hook up to LT headers easy enough? Do you plan to come out with a set of LT's as well
I will be ordering this setup soon from you. Think I could get this by xmass time?

If you plan to install LT Headers you are going to have to dump the SLP LMs. I know cause I had to do it and I dont regret it. People love my car. :P
Oh and yes, different size H-Pipes will change the tone slightly and make more or less noise. Apparently its a rule of thumb to not go smaller than 3/4" ID as a crossover or torque loss will become apparent.

I can if somebody wants to send me a set I can test them no problem and make some sound files like I did with the SLP's. I don't sell the flow's so I dont have any around here.

what if i send you my old ones? i dont know how it would sound though since the passenger muffler has a busted weld inside it. i think once it warmed up the sound went away. you think that would work??

SLP Loudmouths at the end of an exhaust system that only consists of Long Tube Headers and any H-Pipe is going to sound really bad. Its not only really LOUD, it doesnt sound deep. It just trumpets like crazy, waaaaaaaaaay too much resonation right there.

Wow, definetly getting those. Do you think a stock catted Pypes H pipe would sound much different?

I meant if I hooked up the Pypes H pipe to the stock cats, would it sound almost as loud and with something near the same sound.

This H pipe replaces everything (including the stock cats) inbetween the the stock headers and stock mufflers with the exception of the pipe over the rear axle.
