Just Installed My rear Drag racing adjustable shocks. They are for 93-04 mustang but all you need is some washers as spacers to make them fit the 05.Fully adjustable.

I've been thinking about the aftermarket in terms of rear shocks myself and the springs, sportline compared to stock. Lets us know how they perform.

if you don't mind your car being 3-4 inches off the ground then sportlines are the way to go,and trust me from having the same shocks they work very good best bang for the buck.

My car is actually already 3-4" off the ground, I've been thinking about going back to stock ride height for when I return to the track.

Edit: any idea what the rear shocks are worth in the 1/4 given certain other suspension work or not?

2-3 tenths,i put on the shocks headers and mufflers all at the same time and before i did that i was running 12.9 106 to 12.3 108.87 so i would say at least 2-3 tenths

Also, where is the gouge you mentioned in that picture? What would cause that to happen?

Here are mine...

BTW, it takes about 3/8" of washers or a single spacer to successfully fill both end of the shocks' lower mount. It got a little tricky to fit them all in on both sides so I had to get a hammer and screwdriver out to help motivate them into place.

The install took about 4 hours since I also had to pull the sway bar and 3rd link out so I could primer my LCA and shock brackets before I could put the Strange units into place. Looks much better than Surface Rust.
