Please use your PC interface kit, and download the DS downloader software to get the newest DiabloSport Predator revisions for 2005 Mustang GT, with or with out CAI calibrations, the features now added for extensive data monitoring and logging, memory recall, and global MAF adjustability, take’s your DiabloSport Predator to the next level!
The revisions are all CROM file specific, not custom tunes, so everyone understands; these are replacements of the entire working software in the Predator. This means the calibration information, but also features of the Predator.
Each revision is specific to the Predator; a standard U7140 Predator will not accept the C&L or Steeda CROM file for download, and the same for the CAI specific Predator. That is why there are different revisions for the different Predators. You must use the proper revision for your Predator.

I just downloaded and installed r14 release revision, reinstalled the C&L CAI test tune Scott sent me 2 weeks ago and set the gear ratio for 4.10 gears as they will be installed tomorrow and then it will be dyno tested. I will post the results tomorrow after the dyno run for all to view.
Can someone do me a favor? Just noticed that when you go to Options, Troubleshooting, VIN - that the VIN is not displayed. The screen reads ff.ff.ff.ff.ff.ff.ff.ff.ff etc. Has anyone else noticed this? I sent Cole & Scott an email asking this same question.

If you’re a mammal that cares - I just received a response from Keith @ DiabloSport. Yes @ 8:36 PM. Here is the answer:
"That is not a feature that is enabled in this revision. Not anything to worry about."

Nick,
Ummm... I followed the steps on my new '05 Mustang-specific Predator by re-installing factory tune on the vehicle, downloading the new installer, downloading the new r14 revision, etc.
Then the Predator ATTEMPTED to install the new CROM files/revision but failed.
NOW every time I boot up the Predator (with or without the PC connected) it opens up to Kros Operating System, says it's booting and then says: "The application is missing or corrupt."
So now I can't install the new program, can't use the old program, can't re-install the old C&L tune on my Mustang and can't drive the car because of the lean condition and check-engine light with the C&L and factory tune!?!?!?!?
ARGH!
Now what?
Steve

yea -- WHOA!
What's the deal with the different version predators now? If I wanted a specific device, I'd have bought the SCT. I bought the predator purely for the reason that If I wanted a C&L pipe later then all I'd need is to load the C&L code. For now I just wanted the plain ole predator tunes.
I don't get it -- are you saying that we no longer can do that? Now if I wanted a C&L intake I have to buy the intake AND a C&L predator? that IS BS. Please clarify before there is a witch hunt!
THANKS
Pete
