MGW Shifter
Eduardo - You might want to do a search on this there are some 30 or so pages on this. The consensus seems to be that the MGW is the premium shifter out there. I have had mine in for 10 days and love it. MGW is a class act with an excellent product and customer service.

I have the MGW shifter. There are other shifters that are very good but the MGW is in a class by itself.
Also George's customer service is amazing. I had the shifter installed about a month and in the mail arrived a service pack for it. I didn't ask for it. It just showed up. Apparently they sent them to everyone who bought the shifter.
Now the shifter works even better. I highly recommend the MGW shifter.

Can't wait to install mine!
My MGW arrived last week just looking for a day when I can install it. This is the shifter that should be stock in your car but Ford, Roush, Saleen would never equip your car with it because of the "bottom line" This is a can't go wrong product order it today and you will be FOUND! ![Stickpoke](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/stickpoke.gif)

Straight from Bill's (TacoBill) write-up page. This is the MGW Shifter with the Hurst White Ball ****.

Most of us did our install with jack stands and that's about the only thing that makes it hard. Getting both hands into the area at the same time is hard if the car is on jack stands. When you order they will ask which threads you want , so tell them you want them for the stock shifter ...

P... FYI
If you like the handles pictured above, you will need to order the handle with the 3/8-16 thd for the Hurst ball and order a new **** with that thread... otherwise, you will get the handle that uses the OEM **** which covers the entire handle with the shifter boot. Just like the OEM installation. I believe that is a straight black handle.
I don't know why someone with the OEM threaded handle has never posted a picture of the handle... there have been several other people that have asked your question. But, all I have ever seen posted is the 3/8-16 handle.

Well, there is not much to see when using the OEM threaded handle. Here is a pic of it, except I am using the MGW gripper ball. Same threads as stock.

And here is a pic of the handle itself, without the boot and shifter ball

Thanks for the pics, but that's what I was afraid of. I'm looking for about three more inches.
That's what she said!
But seriously I want the shift **** to be much closer to my hand position on the steering wheel.
I wish someone made an extender/adapter.
