The way one of the sales men put it they took the new GT down they took off the new exhaust and then put the flow master system in so shed have about 10 % more HP and the cost was up to $ 600.00
That is a load of

I wouldn't pay more than $300 for an axle back system, and there is NO WAY that they will increase HP by 10%. That would be 30 HP, and the most you are going to get outta a system like this is probably 10 HP, if that.

I just wanna say, that was right after we installed those mufflers. They really have broken in and are VERY loud at low RPMs. I love them. Also, when you revv em, they crackle at the end. its really nice. Buy these is you need a cheap way and easy install to make your car sound meaner.

I installed my flowmasters 2 weeks ago and still drive around with my windows down and radio off. The day after I installed them, I was pulling into a parking log and the attendant said "man, that thing sounds healthy!" Healthy indeed, it can breath! B)
I thought I was crazy for doing the same after installing my Flows! It's good to know that I'm not alone. The Shaker does not get a lot of use, nor does the a/c, and it's getting hot here in Florida. I love the sound of this car!

Heh it's getting a little warm here but nothin like Costa Rica. I'd love to see your stang though since I'm in Sanford. Are there any events or meetups that you attend? heck, I'd just like to see a bunch of 05's together since I've only seen one GT up close

I just installed mine a few hours ago and they sound GREAT!!! Its louder than stock and its just a great sound to hear!! I was driving in my neighborhood and my neighbor came over and was like, "what did you do to the car?" I said, "what do you mean?" "I could hear you coming up the street and pull into your driveway now..." he said. I replied, "OHHHH, you mean my new Flowmasters!" And he was like, "GET THE F-word OUT OF HERE!!" In a great way! "Fire that bad-boy up, I gotta hear that exhaust!" Fired it back up and he literally creamed himself. Haha, it was great, def a great buy, Flowmaster did a great job on this kit!!

Sorry it's taken so long to get back, some of my e-mail settings were not correct. Anyway, I'm always looking for shows that include mustangs.

There is an annual Mustang show here in Orlando at the Waterford Lakes shopping center, usually in February. It's a good show, but it won't be back for a while.

There is a big Mustang show in Tampa every year at the Museum of Science and Industry near the Univ of S. Florida. I can't remeber what month, but it's always extra hot, so it must be in the summer.

Every Thursday night there is a small get together at the A&W Root Beer on highway 50 in Clermont. I went once and was disappointed. There were not many cars and very few 05s, except for the ones that Rolling Hills Ford was trying to sell.

There is also a handful of local 05 owners that met this past weekend on the causeway between Tampa and Clearwater. Check the posts, I think may try to make it a regular thing.

I do searches online every few weeks, but haven't seen anything lately.

Good Luck and be patient, when you get your car you will love it!
