Mike and George, it looks like it's tomorrow night or we're waiting till April to race again.
Supposed to start snowing at 10PM. Looks like 56 on Sunday but I don't know if the track will be good. What do you guys think?

I will be there Friday night regardless of track conditions. Pete and I will be datalogging my cars fuel system. Sat. weather is still questionable Sun. looks to be the better day. I may enter the Big Bucks Gamblers Shootout though.

I'll answer for George, he has an SCT tuner and the guy Pete he is referring to is the guy from the local SCT tuning place who races at the track as well.
You can data log using the Predator. I've done it myself. Read your manual and it tells you how. It's a pain physically if you have a 5-speed. If you have manual you will figure out what I mean.

Well my trip to the track tonight was a lot like "Lemoy Snickets and a Series of Unfortunate Events". On my way to the track I hit a wall of traffic and I turn around and go a different way. Then my sister calls me and tells me my mother got rear ended by a dump truck in her new Avalon (she's ok). Half way there this old Eclipse does a ricer fly by trying to race me and before I hit the gas to catch up my laser detector starts going crazy and that kid got pulled over. Then I finally get to Epping at 4:40 and get off 101 to stop at Mobil to get some ice, and I can't put my shifter into first or second gear. I've been having a lot of trouble with this new shifter and I figure I've had enough bad signs telling me not to go, not like I could launch in 3rd anyway.
I manage to get home, jack the car up and find a nut had fallen off the 2 piece shifter shaft and had wedged itself in my shifter housing, effectively blocking 1st and 2nd. Took me 10 minutes to fix.
It just wasn't my night. Tomorrow it's supposed to snow. I hope the weather is good Sunday, supposed to be 60.

The weather was nice today. They really did a good job of prepping the track. The track temp was 38 degrees when we started. They only did 1/8th mile today, stupid. It was a waste of time and money. I wish I had made it last night.
When I got home it started snowing.
