need traction help

I just supercharged my car and I currently have 19'' wheels with the BF Goodrich G-force kdw tires. 255 in the front and 285 in the rear. But this wheel and tire set up does not have enough grip for this amount of power, even on the street, and I plan on taking it to the track. I cant find any drag radials in a size 19'' wheel, but I still have my stock wheels and tires. So i was planning on puting the stock wheels back on the car and getting drag radials for them. What is the widest tire I can fit on the stock 17'' wheels? I have also considered having a different set of wheels ant tires for the street and the strip. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do?

I know a couple of people running Bogart wheels with drag radials in rear and skinnies in the front that is the best for the drag strip. They are expensive but super light. Will help your et.

Your best (and least expensive) option is an extra pair of stock 17x8 wheels, with Mickey Thompson tires. Go with either the 275/40-17 ET Street Radials (p/n #3743R) or the 26x11.50-17 ET Street bias tires (p/n #3743). Both of these are 26" dia tires. If you want a taller tire (28"), you can also try the 325/45-17 M&H drag radial on a 17x9 wheel.

Going to 15" wheels is expensive or difficult (or both).
