Looks nice, but also looks like the rotors are on backwards.

Agh ohh...good check Tom. I now have to agree that at least according to Rotorpro those front rotors need to be swapped side to side. The leading edge of the slot at the smallest diameter is suppose to hit the pads first...at least according to Rotorpro.

Sent an email to the shop to share my concerns based on the feedback from you guys so we'll see. I pick her up tomorrow.

They did say they drove the car around the building, I wonder if they would have noticed something...

The car is at CJ Pony Parts and doubt they would have let this slip past them...

My understanding on this is that the brakes will perform equally well, however pad wear will be increased. Just FYI.... Still looks great though!

And again I have to agree with Tom. My understanding is that is only harder on the pads but no real safety issues.

It looks like the 08-09 Bullitt receives Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads in the front, and that the OEM 2005-up GT brake pads are ceramic pads.

Those aftermarket brakes look very snazzy!

I just installed my rotorpros rotors and very happy with the performance gains with those, Hawk pads and SS brake lines. I had to check the rotor for rotation after I installed and I guess I got lucky. Looks like all 4 of mine were right....what the hell happened to Murphy?

This is also what Power Slot rotors recommends but then I have seen Baer brakes the other way. I dont know of any real tests on rotors one way or the other...

Baer supplies the kits for Shelby Performance and the rotors are facing the correct direction according to Shelby and Baer. Different companies have different thoughts on the slots. Some face them one way to pull air in and others face them the opposite way to let air out. IMHO there will be no discernable difference in performance or pad life regardless of what direction the slots face.

Let me know how you like them compaired to the stock stopping distance as I'm considering doing this set up on mine. They look great.

I went through the whole "your rotors are on backwards" thing last year. It is true that Wilwood and Baer are installed with the slot lead in "backwards". My R1Concept Rotors go from inner diameter to outer with slot angle like the RotoPros.

Chip Foose had about 20 shows where I saw the rotors on "backwards" and then I decided to read up as to not make the mistake. Turns out Chip was using Baer.
